Things to do in Cape Town
Cape Town offers a diverse array of things to do from enjoying a beach holiday, mountaineering, wine tasting, dining at gourmet restaurants, cycling, motorcycling, open bus touring, and the like.
Being one of the few cities in the world with an idyllic climate coupled with beach and mountain natural attractions, as well as a vibrant nightlife, the visitor is hard pressed to pack it all in. For further information check out the website.
Camps Bay has at least 35 restaurants – see list– of which the nearest is a well-known and recently renovated steakhouse for the carnivores among us.
The Hussar Grill is only 600m from the studios. There is a delicatessen adjacent to the restaurant; a Swiss run Emporium offering both local and european continental cuisine.
For the hillwalkers, a 50 m walk to the end of our cul-de-sac leads you to a hiking trail in the veld which will join up with one of the many paths that leads you to the top of Table Mountain. This is a somewhat arduous trek and we advise you to seek advice on the best routes. Never hike the mountain on your own and ensure that you have a mobile phone with you, sun hat, a warm jacket and plenty of water, preferably also something to eat. However, there is a shop and restaurant on top of the Mountain where one can enjoy a snack or full meal.
